CSS Charity Drive 2023

We are excited to share that we are organizing a charity programmed “CSS Charity Drive” with the aims and objective to provide money and in-kind to help the unfortunate by contributing basic necessities that they otherwise cannot afford.

Chua Song Seng Group is allocating a budget of RM50,000 as donation fund to some identified NGO starting from May 2023. We will focus on Kuala Lumpur, Klang, Teluk Intan, Ipoh, Penang and Johor.

A very Great Evening!

First and foremost, let us welcome Mr. Clini and Mr. O’rourke and
their team with a great round of applause. Their arrival have make
tonight celebration memorable one and it mean a lot to us. It showed
that they are value our services and partnership. We truly appreciate
it; however we should not take this for granted. In fact we need to put
in more efforts and work closely with them to develop Malaysia’s
market and create greater result.

I always say that; we are playing the role of a bridge in between
manufacturer and consumer. We can only create a “TRIPLE WIN”
result by working closely and good collaboration. Our group has a
clear core value and vision. I always share this with my staffs that, we
are all in the same boat, rowing towards a direction, we can only
reach our destination by rowing together in same direction. If you are
not willing to put in your effort, not willing to cooperate with
company policy, please leave the boat, don’t sabotage our team.

We can only growth together by being integrity and sincerity both
management team and staffs. This will build a great team spirit.

We are celebrating 80th anniversary this year. I would like to express
my gratitude to my staffs both past and present. Thank you for your
contribution and hard work. And I really appreciate the opportunity
and support given by principals. Without you all, we will not be here.
And I would like to take this opportunity to thank our companies
management team for organize this dinner, let our staffs from all over
Malaysia can get together. Once again I would like to thank you
Carlsberg Malaysia’s Team and JTI Malaysia’s Team to be with us
tonight. If there is any shortcoming or inconvenience caused, please
accept my sincere apology.

At last I’ll like to wish everyone to stay healthy, great success in
business, all the best and peaceful and harmony.

CSSGOC 80th Anniversary

Established 80 years ago, Chua Song Seng Group of Companies (CSS Group) has undoubtedly claimed a significant spot in Malaysia’s history. It has witnessed Malaysia’s economic transformation and contributed enormously to the country’s development since independence more than 60 years ago.

The Group have been through ups and downs in the past 80 years. The Group has transformed from a humble sundry shop to be a reputable wholesaler of tobacco and alcohol products. We witnessed all the crucial historical developments of the country including the British colonization, the Japanese occupation, the independence of Malaysia, Malaysia’s major flash floods, the first financial crisis in the 1980s, the birth of national car Proton, the dynamic economic growth in the 1990s as well as the new Alliance of Hope government. The Group also survived a fire and weathered the storm of the second financial crisis in 1997.

Tobacco and alcohol have been regarded as a reflection of the common folks’ spending power. It is also an alternative yardstick for common folks to measure the health of the economy. Therefore, the Group’s progress has also been seen as the thermometer of Malaysia’s market, witnessing the rise and fall of the economy as well as the evolution of the market. As a member of the community who share a common destiny, the Group also acts in concert with the government’s policies and responses in accordance with the entire social and economic environment.

CSS Group believes that it should feel the pulse of the market, understand the need of common folks and cooperate with the government. This is because we always believe that we should not be solely profit-oriented, but must be responsible to consumers and contribute to the economic development of Malaysia. The Group have been actively participating in the country’s social development which is the main reason why the Group is still standing after facing numerous challenges in the past 80 years.

Today, the Group has earned itself a strong position in the market and is moving forward, diversifying its businesses. The Group would like to take this opportunity to express its deepest appreciation to all the supporters as well as business partners who have traveled through thick and thin with The Group. First of all I want to express my sincere gratitude to my distinguish guests, yours attendance have make tonight an unforgettable night. Your attendance means a lot to me.

Chua Song Seng Group of companies & Chua Lai Huat Holdings Sdn Bhd will have this Appreciation every year with the purpose of to gather everyone, who is very busy along the year. Tonight we get together to celebrate and to bonding. And also to take this opportunity to let the young generation learns to giving it back to society. Along the year I have face numerous challenges and luckily I always have someone kind enough to help me get through it. I would never forget their good deeds.

I always remember my late father advice which is to be kind to people, never do bad thing.So I took his word to do business in the right way never cut a corner, our product always genuine and good quality. I would like to thanks my principal and customers, without their trust and support I could never be here.It is you who make me.

Lastly I would like to invite all the guests tonight to take this opportunity to bonding and mingle.
