Founded in 1939 as a small sundry shop, Chua Song Seng (CSS) has grown significantly under the leadership of Dato’ Chua Lai Huat. Built on strong business foundations and steady expansion, CSS has developed into one of Malaysia’s established distribution companies.
With a forward-looking business approach, CSS places strong emphasis on employee development and operational efficiency, supported by continuous investment in infrastructure and resources to drive sustainable growth.

Today, CSS is a key distributor of Carlsberg, a wide range of spirits, wines, and champagnes, as well as JTI tobacco products and other consumer goods. We serve a diverse customer base that includes hotels, golf and country clubs, pubs, entertainment venues, restaurants, retailers, and corporate clients across Malaysia.
